Conference Locations
Day One: The Smithsonian Digitization Fair is scheduled to take place at the Baird Auditorium at the National Museum of Natural History in Washington, DC.  Please enter the building from 1000 Constitution Avenue.

Day Two: The Smithsonian Digitization Fair is scheduled to take place at the Ripley Lecture Hall in the S. Dillon Ripley Center in Washington, DC.  Please enter the building from 1100 Jefferson Drive.

Exhibits-- Day Two Only

The Digitization Fair Exhibits will be an opportunity for visitors to learn about digitization projects at the Smithsonian on Wednesday, March 15th from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM EDT, so please drop by!

 

Lunch - On Your Own Both Days

There are several Smithsonian cafes around the Mall, but you may find them crowded at this time of year.  If so, you may want to try local food trucks or quick food options in the following areas:

Metro Center Food Court (about 5-7 minute walk from the National Museum of Natural History)
Penn Quarter (about 5-7 minute walk from National Museum of Natural History)
L'Enfant Plaza Food Court (about 5-7 minute walk from the S. Dillon Ripley Center)

Transportation
We strongly recommend that you take public transporation or use a riding-share app to get to and from the Digitization Fair as parking is limited and expensive.  Click here for information about parking near Smithsonian Museums.
